Reviews
Do yourself a favour and stop here! Best way to end our Italian road trip.
We had “rigatoni alla carbonara trufata”, “tonnarelli cacio e pepe”, “pinsa” and tiramisu
Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff was also very kind and attentive.
Excellent Roman cuisine at a realistic price - thoroughly recommend
Very nice location and kind service but you must like the Roman cusine
Really nice place, very nice staff, we ate really well and abundantly, the only dish that I really didn't like was the carbonara which is paradoxical for a Roman cuisine restaurant. Good appetizer, very good Amatriciana, porchetta and lamb as tasty as the side dishes. I will be back to try the caliper.
The best pinsa I've ever eaten! Exquisite pinsa with excellent ingredients. The slow leavening means that the pinsa is really easily digestible. You can find pinsas of all types, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. In addition to the pinsa, you can enjoy excellent French fries. The first courses are also very good, the cacio e pepe is delicious! The place is very nice and the owners are really kind. Prices normal. Recommended place!
A place almost in the center of Medicina on the outskirts of Bologna which I would define as a trattoria/tavern where they offer excellent typical Roman cuisine for a culinary experience different from the usual traditional local cuisine.
Simple and spartan environment but here what counts are the typical dishes of Roman cuisine (the owners are pleasantly keen to point out that they are Roman).
Large menu from which to choose the best-known typical dishes of the Roman tradition accompanied by local wines or excellent beers.
The pinsa is truly excellent with a really good and light dough and plenty of fillings, the first courses are also excellent and well prepared, I have read reviews that define the first courses as too tasty... but a carbonara or a bland gricia where the bacon is the base of the dish cannot to exist...
As for the second courses, the porchetta is good, the other second courses I didn't find the "wow" but still good, fried appetizers for all tastes but I haven't had the opportunity to try them even if they look inviting.
Right portions tending towards abundant.
Reservation recommended, I would say a must to find a place.
Good service and friendly staff.
Fair prices and in line with the quality of the products and in any case excellent value for money.
I have been there several times for dinner and I will definitely return to enjoy something different from our typical local menu every now and then.
It's worth a try, highly recommended.
We went to this place because friends had spoken well of it... I'll start by saying that when I call to book I am informed of the double shift of the service, 7.00pm/9.00pm, meaning those who book for 7.00pm (even if they arrive a little later he doesn't do anything...) but he still has to clear the table by 9.00pm, the start time of the second service (right or wrong is not for me to judge, personally I don't like it...)
Punctual and kind service, we order mixed fried foods, all really good, the pinsas arrive, my caracalla is excellent but after a while I realize that my wife doesn't like it very much... she ordered an Adriano and lets me try some... among the ingredients of his pinsa there are julienn potatoes and they were certainly not overcooked (indeed...). Too bad, without that inconvenience I would have given an extra star...
I often frequent this restaurant/pinseria, the lightness and digestibility of their pinsa are unbeatable. A refined product with excellent ingredients. I also tried their first extraordinary ones. What can I say... we'll see you again for the next pinsa
